William (Bill) Ince, age 80, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026. Bill resided in Cornelius, North Carolina, formerly in Cicero, New York.
He was predeceased by his parents, William F. and Anna Ince and a sister, Mary Godkeski and a son, Timothy (TJ) Lynch.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Carol Ince and his sister, Carolyn Ince Dugan (John), his children, grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
Bill was a wonderful father to his 5 children. A son, Michael Ince (Heather), and his three daughters. Kori Gross (Damon), Nichole Ince, Leslie Ince Antzak (James), and a son, Kevin Lynch (Shawn). He was also a loving grandfather. He had nine grandchildren. Shelby Thomas (William), Lexi Belloma, Miley, Anna and Audrey Gross, Lucas and Tanner Kuriatnyk and Dylan and Reagan Lynch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bill was a retired member of UA Local 81 of Syracuse, New York. He was an avid golfer and hunter. He was a former member of Arrowhead Golf Course and the Fremont Lions. He spent several summers in the Adirondack Mountains and after retirement, winters in Boynton Beach, Florida. Eventually, after he retired, Bill and his wife, Carol, moved to Cornelius, North Carolina. They also traveled with friends and he had a wonderful life.
Services will be held at a later date in Syracuse, NY.
