Vivian L. (Reynolds) Banks

Vivian R. Frisbee Banks went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 6, 2024.

Vivian was born in Marion, NC to the late Delmer J. and Nola Baker Reynolds on December 8, 1927. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Frisbee; second husband, Lennie M. Banks; her brothers, Harold, Wayne, Jack, and Foy Mack "Bud;" and sisters, Ruth Ellington and Thelma Markum.

Vivian was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church for over 50 years, serving in the choir and various roles. Vivian was a Licensed Cosmetologist and owned her own shop. She was a devoted friend to her church and customers.

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Lynn Bright (Clayton); a son, Max Frisbee (Pam); grandchildren, Candace Cooper (Kent), Nicholas, Joshua (Taylor), Will, and Wes Frisbee; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Rogers (Dillon), Colton Cooper, and Grayson Frisbee; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Margaret Magnum; caregiver, Paula Rogers; and the staff at Magnolia Senior Living.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.at Beverly Hills Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Lolley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park, 1610 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC.
