Van L. Storie

Mr. Van L. Storie, age 75, of Indian Land, South Carolina passed away July 23, 2023. A native of Avery County North Carolina.

Van and his wife Trevetta Dodson Storie and their children Allen Storie and Scott Storie all resided in Indian Land, South Carolina. and his daughter Reychelle Vise from Orange City, Florida.

He had 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He has two surviving sisters Sherry Finley and Regina Clark both of Forest City, North Carolina. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; Dallas and Louella Phillips Storie and sister Janelle Hunt.

Van proudly served our country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

Graveside rites with Military Honors will be conducted Monday, August 21 at 11:00a, Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd. Salisbury, North Carolina.
