Tonua Nadine (Davis) Tipton

Tonua N (Davis) Tipton, age 68, went to heaven June 14, 2024 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC with her family at her side.

Tonua was a Nurse at the Johnson City Medical Center for over 30 years before that she worked at the Garrett Memorial Hospital in Crossnore, NC. She was a graduate of ETSU.

She was a God Loving woman, loving wife and mother who will truly be missed.

She leaves behind her husband Gary Tipton, son Brian Tipton, and daughter Kelsey Tipton (all from Roan Mountain). Her sisters Pam Crumley (Roan Mountain) and Regina Briggs (Anderson, SC).

Tonua was proceeded in death by her parents Neville and Edith (Cordell) Davis, siblings Ronnie Davis, Charles Davis and Barbara Murray. Also her father-in-law and mother-in-law Roy and Hazel Tipton.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Magill Memorial Presbyterian Church, 296 Highway 143, Roan Mountain, TN at 11:00am.
