Timothy Carper Obituary

Timothy Alan Carper born May 4, 1947, in Charlottesville, Virginia passed away peacefully on July 19, 2021.

Tim graduated from Georgia State University with a B.S. in Business. He followed in his father’s footsteps with a career in the food service distribution industry. His career culminated with the honor of induction into the Frozen Food Hall of Fame. He lived a very full life, nothing made him happier than being ‘the host with the most’ to family and friends. Tim enjoyed golf, boating, cards, and spending time with friends and family. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.

He is survived by the love of his life Bridget, sons Sean and Ryan Carper, Kyle Van Buren (Katie), daughter Brittany Van Buren, grandchildren, Claira and Tucker, and brother Mark Carper (Erin). He is preceded in death by his father Howard Burns Carper, mother Alice Hope Carper, and brother David Anthony Carper.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Cagle’s Family Farm, 5267 Conns Creek Rd., Ball Ground, Georgia 30107. Visitation at 1p with a service following at 2p. Light refreshments and fellowship to follow.
