Thomas Lamar Vaughn

Mr. Thomas Lamar Vaughn, age 74 of Woodstock, GA passed away peacefully on December 4th, 2025. Born in Atlanta GA.

Mr. Vaughn served our country faithfully in the United States Marine Corps and had retired as a general contractor in the construction business. He loved God, his family, his country and hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his son Stephen Vaughn and his parents Billy Vaughn Jr and Doris Vaughn.

He is survived by his wife Gail Vaughn of Woodstock; son and daughter in law Michael and Sarah Vaughn of Dawsonville; daughter and son in law Christina and Ricky Roland of Ball Ground. Grandchildren; Madison McClain and husband Jared, Preston Vaughn and wife Genna, Bryson Vaughn, Payton Vaughn, Braylee Roland, Hezekiah Roland and Uriyah Roland. One great grandchild Hollis McClain.

A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, December 7th at 2PM. Antioch Christian Church 3595 Sugar Pike Road Canton, Ga 30015. Pastor Ken May will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00p to 2:00p prior to the service.  Burial with military honors will be Wednesday, December 10that 10:30 AM. Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, Canton, Ga. 30114.
