Theresa Lynn (Scheidl) May

It is with great sadness that the family of Theresa Lynn (Scheidl) May announces her sudden passing, on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at the age of 59 years.

Terri was born to Phabrice and Albert John Scheidl, Jr. on June 1, 1961 in Houston, Texas. She attended college in Costa Mesa, California and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. After college, Terri returned to Georgia where she met her future husband, Jim. She started her business career working in the banking industry and later moved into the insurance field. Terri was a natural when it came to dealing with the public. She could remain calm, be professional and get the information necessary to assist the customer, all the while maintaining a sense of humor. She always said there is something about a full moon that brings out the crazy in people. The last few months were very difficult and trying for Terri. She suffered a setback after injuring her foot. The road to recovery was not going to be easy or quick, but she was hopeful and looking forward to the day she could dance again. She will be dearly missed by all.

Terri will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years, James (Jim), her siblings Suzanne (Richard), A.J., and Janet. Terri will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Gregory, Jennifer (Ryan), Brock (Nicole) and Hannah (Chris) and by her four great-nieces and nephews Cash, Marley, Marshall and Piper.

Services will be held Saturday, February 20 at 11am, Lakeside Chapel, 121 Claremore Dr., Woodstock, GA. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations for Noah's Ark: http://www.noahs-ark.org/
