Robert O. Cross

Robert O. Cross of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away on August 9th, 2016 at the age of 87. Mr. Cross is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years Sara Cross, his two daughters Brenda Pulliam (Joe Pulliam), Jennifer James (Rick James), grandchildren Patrick and Amy Cross, Christopher and Kacey Pulliam, Brad and Sarah Edeker, and his two great granddaughters Kaitlyn and Kiara Cross. He was preceded in death by his son Steven R. Cross.

A special thank you goes to his compassionate caregiver Catherine Wright. Mr. Cross was born and raised in Oneida, TN. He was an airman in the Army Air Corp and the United States Air Force and had a contribution during the Berlin Airlift. After serving in the military, Robert worked at Lockheed Martin in Marietta Ga. until he retired after more than 30 years. After retirement he enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying as a private pilot, and spending time with his family. The service for Mr. Cross will be Friday, August 12th at 2 pm with visitation two hours prior, at Lakeside Funeral Home in Woodstock, GA. Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Park in Kennesaw, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
