Robert Jerome Crenshaw, Jr.

Robert Jerome Crenshaw, Jr., passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at home with his parents in Linville Falls, NC.

Robert (Robby) was the son of Robert (Bobby) and Beverly Shea Crenshaw, born November 6, 1979 at Sloop Memorial Hospital in Crossnore, NC. Robby lived with his parents and brother, Brady in Linville Falls, NC and attended Faith Baptist Daycare in Linville, NC, Newland Elementary Special Education Class until he aged out, and then attended Yellow Mountain until 2008. Robby had special caregivers throughout his life, the last being Sharon Clark Sells who assisted in the care of Robby for the last 17 years of his life. The family is deeply appreciative of the loving care provided to Robby by Sharon as well as the love and support of his extended family, church and community family as well as Dr. Charles E Baker who always attended to Robby with compassion and love.

Robby was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Shane Crenshaw, grandfathers Rodger Crenshaw Sr., D.H. Garland, Jr., and grandmother Mildred Parker Garland of Unicoi, TN. Left to cherish his memory are his parents Bobby and Shea Crenshaw, brother, Brady Levi Crenshaw, niece and nephew, Brayden and Bailee Crenshaw; sister-in-law Allison Crenshaw; Aunt, Melissa Parker Garland of Unicoi, TN, Grandmother, Jean Crenshaw, Uncles John (Becky) and Rodger Crenshaw, Jr (Miriam), Aunt Pam (Jerry) Calloway, cousins Jason Crenshaw (Holly), Sarah (John) Doby, Hannah (Joey) Arnett, Holly Mottern, Madison Calloway, Benjamin Crenshaw (Carrie) and Caroline (John) Edwards. Other family members include grandnephews Jack, Davis and Henry Crenshaw, Tyler and Justin Doby, Charlie Crenshaw, Isaac and Jacob Fletcher.

A memorial service will be held at the Linville Falls Community Church, NC 183, LInville Falls, NC 28647 on Sunday, October 28 at 3p with a reception to immediately follow at the church.
