Nancy Lee (Beal) Carpenter

Nancy Lee Carpenter, 67, of Kennesaw, GA passed away August 28, 2021, at her home.  Mrs. Carpenter was born on September 3, 2021, in Atlanta, GA. 

Nancy is survived by her daughter Amanda (Amy) Hollifield of Winder GA, son Blake Carpenter, sister Susan Pruett with husband Larry Pruett of Kennesaw GA, Sister Laura Ambler with husband Mark Ambler of Austin Tx, grandchildren Savannah Watkins, Taylor Watkins, Morgan Watkins, great grandson Oliver Keith and many nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased her by her husband Harrison James Carpenter of Greenville, SC, her father Harvey Leon Beal of Atlanta GA, her mother Johnnie Grace Beal of Kennesaw, GA, and her brother Lonnie Beal of Acworth, GA.  

Nancy was raised in Atlanta by her parents and graduated from O'Keefe High School.  Nancy lived and worked most of her adult life in and around the Atlanta area.  In the 1980’s she owned a successful company selling and vending beef jerky with her husband Harrison Carpenter. Following that, Nancy was a successful car salesperson for many years in Lawrenceville, GA before moving to the panhandle of Florida. In 2017 Nancy moved back to GA to settle in Kennesaw. In addition to her family, close friends, Nancy loved music and singing, she also had a deep love for animals and would often take in a few strays to nurture. She also leaves behind her precious cats Sister and Mister.

The family will be having a small private celebration of Life Ceremony in Honor of Nancy.
