MORTEZA ZOUGHI
Age 55, died after a courageous battle with cancer with his loving wife by his side on June 12, 2024 in Atlanta, GA .
Morteza was born in Tehran, Iran on July 11th 1968 to Ali Zoughi and Shamsolzamon Emami. Morteza immigrated to the United States at age 15. Always a pupil, he loved education and obtained a degree in dentistry, mathematics, and coding. He also had a real estate & insurance license to serve many people. He loved helping clients find their forever homes and was a bright light during difficult times of catastrophic losses.
His passion for loving and helping others is apparent in how he lived his everyday life- his volunteer work with Mission Agape- he devoted many years in feeding the homeless. Morteza spent his life fostering, caring, and rescuing animals - from small to big, bugs to horses. His gentleness showed up in his conservationist-lifestyle and he believed in leaving this world better than he received it.
His love for nature and plants gave him peace and joy. Morteza cared for so many through his cooking and providing nourishment through delicious food and thoughtful displays. A true renaissance man, epitomized by by his incredible heart of gold and kindness. He leaves behind an wonderful legacy- a loving husband, a doting dad, a friend to so many.
Morteza will be missed dearly by all those who knew him- to know him was to love him. He is proceeded in death by his father Ali Zoughi Morteza is survived by his wife, Tabitha Vasquez-Zoughi, his two chlidren Dionisia and Ruben, his two granddaughters Abigail and Emma of Sugar Hill, GA. His mother Shamsolzamon Emami of Tehran, Iran. His brother Jalaledin, sister-in-law Janice, and his nephews Sahmon and Sohayl, and his wife Amber and grand nephews Wyatt and Elliot of Torrence, CA. His brother Faramarz and sister-in-law Shirin of Alpharetta, GA. His brother Mohamad, sister-in-law Maryam, niece Marzieh, and nephews Navid and Omid of Tehran, Iran, and numerous other aunts, uncle, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life gathering on Saturday June 22, 2024 at 10a at Milton Fields Natural Burial Grounds, 1150 Birmingham Rd, Milton, GA 30004.
