Martha Louise Black, age 90, of Buford, GA, Passed away March 2 at her residence after a long illness.
BornMay 5, 1930 in Dallas County, Texas. An avid painter, Louise was known for her depictions of seasonal landscapes and lighthouses which she freely gave to friends and relatives.
Preceded in death by her parents Olin Parker and Mildred Matthew Parker, sisters Jo Parker Anderson, Bess Ann Parker Bridwell, Lori Parker Medina, first husband Jesse Frank Medders, 2nd husband David Howard Black, daughter Vicky Lynn Ray, son Thomas Frank Medders and daughter Deborah Louise Holtzclaw.
She is survived by her daughter, Dee Ann Wood (Christopher) of Buford, GA, 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a small memorial service will be held in her honor.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, FurKids Animal Rescue & Shelter, or your preferred charitable organization.
