Mrs. Marlene Alexandra Danastor, was born on July 4th 1988 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, Marlene is the eldest daughter of Mauricio Rivera and Marlene Lemus. She is the oldest sister of Katherine and Samantha Rivera-Lemus. A natural happy person, Marlene is always surrounded by love of her parents and family. Her special gift to serve and help others unconditionally set her apart from others. Her noble heart and contagious smile characterized her. She expects nothing in return when providing her help and support to others. She enjoys helping people with disabilities and love being around children. She dedicates her time to volunteer in animal shelters and rescues them for adoption. She loves cooking and making desserts.
Her husband Gabriel of Canton, Georgia survives Marlene. Through detailed instruction to her husband, She wants you to celebrate her life and her mission here, which have now been completed on July 2nd 2017. She receives an offer of an eternal life journey she cannot refuse. Her assignment also comes with a bonus, a reunion with friends and family she has not seen in a long time. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she is now free. Her reunion with God her Lord and Jesus her Savior is imminent. Marlene graduates from Universidad de San Pedro Sula with a Bachelor in Tourism Administration.
As an adolescent she attends church in her hometown Honduras. There, she sings in the choir and plays the piano. She teaches children in the church "Escuela Dominical". Marlene faith grew stronger when she migrated to the United States and met her husband. Marlene and Gabriel got married and they both devoted their lives to serving God. Her husband at Fellowship Bible Church baptized Marlene.
She volunteers at the church childcare to be with the children during church service. Marlene brought several of her friends and family members to Christ. She preaches to strangers as well and changes their hearts. Marlene faith was exceptional and extraordinary, as she never questions the authority of God and His will. Marlene touches the lives of a lot of several people.
Marlene, we want to let you know that you did a great job and we wish you safe journey. We will remember your smile, your energy, your love for life, family and friends, but also several strangers, children, many of whom over time also became friends. She made a difference in the lives of many. We invite you to join us to celebrate her life.
A funeral service for Marlene will be conducted Saturday, July 15th at 11:00a Fellowship Bible Church, 480 West Crossville Road, Roswell, GA 30075. The family will receive friends at 10:00a until the service hour. Pastor Mike McCrum will officiate.
