Marianne Fraser Vars

Mrs. Marianne Fraser Vars, age 74 of Reynolds Station, KY and formerly of Canton, GA passed away August 26,2019 in Marietta, GA after a brief illness. Mrs. Vars had retired from the United States Government Department of the Navy.

She is survived by her husband, Mansfield Vars; son John Vars (wife Heidi); daughters, Autumn Drake (husband Barry); Lillian Capps (husband Scott); sister Julia Punch; grandchildren Nicholas Gibson, Kaycee Miller, Isabelle Capps.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 1p Sutallee Baptist Church, 895 Knox Bridge Rd. White, GA. Rev. Horace Smithwick will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 12:30p until 1p.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Memphis, TN.
