Obituary

Kenneth Crandall, age 80, of Canton, GA passed away peacefully on March 31, 2023. Ken was born in Hattiesburg, PA in 1942. After graduating from high school, he joined the army where he met and married his lifelong wife, Elke Crandall (deceased). Ken worked at IBM until his retirement when he was in his mid 50’s. He and Elke got a camper and a truck and traveled the US for many years. They settled down in Groveland, FL where they lived until Elke’s death in 2022. Ken moved to Georgia where he stayed until his death. 

Ken was predeceased by his parents, George and Alberta Crandall, his brother, Ronnie Crandall and sister, Dorothy Warner. 

Ken is survived by his children, Bobby Crandall and Christine Batten as well as his adopted daughter, Ruthie Hughes. He is also survived by his sister, Sandie Fletcher, his grandchildren, Jordan McLaughlin, Conner Crandall and Jessica Batten and his great-grandchildren, Kade McLaughlin, Levi Crandall and Kennedy McLaughlin.

Those who know Ken know he liked to do things his way, so there will be no service.
