Joseph David Pulliam, known affectionately as Joe, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on July 28, 2024, at the age of 66 in Marietta, Georgia. Born on October 16, 1957, in England, Joe was a cherished figure known for his humor, love of sports, bass fishing, and deep commitment to his family.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Brenda; their children, Kacey (and David Bexley) and Christopher (and Lauren Pulliam); and his adored grandsons, Cooper, Callum, and Cohen. He also leaves behind his siblings, Scott (and Robin Pulliam) and Wendy (and Mike Durant).
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Ann and W.O. Pulliam.
A celebration of Joe's life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Lakeside Funeral Home, 121 Claremore Dr, Woodstock, GA 30188. Friends and family are invited to gather at 4:00 pm, with the Celebration of Life following at 5:00 pm. Please do not wear black to the service, business casual dress requested.
In addition to flowers, contributions in memory of Joe can be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or to the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
Joe's warm spirit and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
