John P. Huskins

John Parker Huskins, age 59 of Spruce Pine, NC passed away February 7, 2019 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. He was born in Miami and lived in South Florida, moving to North Carolina approximately seven years ago.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Johnny Edward Huskins. He is survived by his Sons, Johnathon Huskins and Cory James Huskins; Daughter, Casey Ann Huskins (husband, Michael); Grandson, Tyler Logan Huskins; Mother, Naomi Huskins; Sisters, Darlene Rowe and Colleen Susan Huskins.

John possessed a magnetic personality, never met a stranger, and mastered many different trades. His smile could light up a room! John was loved by his family and friends ad he will be truly missed.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The National Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at 12 noon, Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, 53 Pine Grove Road, Spruce Pine, NC 28777.
