Janelle Storie Hunt

Mrs. Janelle Storie Hunt, age 66, of Elk Park, passed away, Wednesday January 18, 2017 at her residence. She was born June, 2, 1950 in Elizabethton, TN to the late Dallas Storie and Luella Phillips Storie.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by her mother, Luella Phillips Storie; her daughter Amanda Vance and husband Daniel; son Ryan Hunt and wife Jolene; brother Van Storie and wife Trevetta; sisters Sherry Finley and husband Roy, and Regina Clark; grandchildren Daniel Hunt, Madison Vance, Morgan Vance and Dustin Hunt, along with many other family members.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Newland, N.C. with Reverend Joe Ingham officiating. The family will receive friends from 1p to 2p one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the Cook cemetery in Elk Park, N.C.
