Ms. Jamie Lee Jacobson Cahill, age 66 of Johns Creek, GA passed away unexpectedly Sunday August 18th, 2019 at her residence.
Jamie was undaunted!
No one had to wonder about Jamie’s faith because she lived it out every day.
Jamie earned a B.A. at the University of Alabama. She was in the KKG Sorority and performed with the Kappa Pickers. Roll Tide!
Jamie was a member at Independent Presbyterian Church (IPC) in Memphis, TN. At IPC Jamie learned the Bible and how to declare the glory of God in all things.
At Perimeter Church in Johns Creek, Georgia Jamie was famous - even having her own parking space! She taught English to international students and hosted a Monday night Bible study at her house - even though it conflicted with Monday night football!
Jamie was preceded in death by her parents Jake and Jan Jacobson. She is survived by her sister Dr. Judith Jacobson, two daughters Shannon Lee Coffey (Chris) and Cameron Jacobson Brown, and grandchildren Brittin McLain Brown, Melissa Judith Coffey, Christopher Thomas Coffey Jr., and Jacobson Roy Coffey. Jamie is also survived by her uncle Robert Sterling Finley and cousins Lynn Dunstan and Robert (Nancy) and their children.
A graveside service was held to bury Jamie with her parents Saturday, August 24th, 2019 at Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Wilmington, DE, 19807.
"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous can run to it and be safe."
Proverbs 18:10
Now Jamie knows in full what she only knew in part before.
A memorial service will be held Saturday September 7th, 2019 at 1p. Perimeter Church, 9500 Medlock Bridge Rd. Johns Creek, GA 30097. Reception to follow.
