Mr. Hugh B. Berry age 85 of Johnson City, TN passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019. He was born June 11, 1934 to the late Noah and Ruby Berry, in Washington County, TN.
He was a 1956 graduate of Science Hill High School and active in several sports there. He retired from Dow Chemical as a Regional Sales Manager. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Johnson City, TN. He married Betty Crowe in 1957.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Berry, and a brother George Berry. He is survived by three sisters, Joy Tittle and Betty Owens both of Johnson City, TN, and Goldia Morrison of Louisville, KY. He survived by several nieces and nephews whom he cared for very much.
Thanks to his many friends who came by to see him and for all the support and comfort offered.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, October 31, 2019, 11:30a at The Happy Valley Memorial Park, 2708 Elizabethton Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601. Scott Huskins, a personal friend and the Funeral Director, will hold a brief service with Tony Young, Hugh's nephew, offering a prayer.
