Mr. Grady Watson, Jr. was born on September 14, 1956 in Atlanta, GA to the late Grady Watson, Sr. and Viola Braswell Watson. He departed this life on April 12, 2018.
Grady attended Walter F. George High School. He was shown to be artistic at a very early age and always loved cars. This ultimately led to his career path of painting and restoring cars masterfully. He resided and worked in Gadsden, AL.
Grady was a very loving, kind and compassionate person. He loved God. He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Grady Watson, III; daughter, Candice Watson; three grandchildren; sisters, Dolly Mae Armstrong, Lucy Griffin, Earnestine Evans, Evelyn (Dennis) Booker, and Viola (Connell) Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lee Arthur Smith. He leaves behind a host of other relatives, family, and close friends especially Janet Peabody, Bishop Terry, Charlotte Jones, and Wayne Prince.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:30a at Cherokee Christian Fellowship, 207 Marvin Land Lane, Canton, GA 30115. Burial will follow in Macedonia Memorial Park, 10655 E Cherokee Dr, Canton, GA 30115.
