George Henry Watson, age 70, was called home on Wednesday, January 13 2021 after a two and a half year battle with Prostate Cancer. He joined his brother Jimmy Watson and parents Gail Gillepsie and George Watson Sr.
Survivors include his Wife: Debura Bug-Atan Watson, Children: Melissa Carranza and Danielle Box. Grandchildren: Jonathan, Austen, Blake, Gabriela and Brooklyn.
George worked hard all of his life so he could retire at an early age. As a young man he entered the Marine Corp and served our beautiful country during the Vietnam War from 1968-1972. When discharged he met his first wife, Jocelyn and they were married for 24 years and had two children- Danielle and Melissa. George met his second wife, Debura while living in the Philippines during retirement. He enjoyed golfing, airplanes and had a great love for motorcycles of all kinds. He was a thoughtful man and had a big heart for those less fortunate. He was a family oriented man and had a protective nature of those he loved. As a father, everything he did was for his two daughters.
He did not want a huge celebration or service after his passing. His ashes will remain with his wife Debura and then will later be given to his sister Cheryl in Connecticut so he can be with his brother Jimmy.
