Gareth Manning Quintilio

Gareth Manning Quintilio, age 73 of Sugar Hill, Georgia passed away peacefully on April 18 2016 with his son David by his side after a courageous battle with lymphoma and subsequent cancer.

After growing up in Keene, New Hampshire, Gareth proudly served our country in the Air Reserves and the United States Air Force as a Medic. Gareth then settled in Asheville, NC where he was able to enjoy the outdoors and passed on his love for golf and fishing to both his son and grandson. He was also a compassionate advocate for homeless pets and involved with local shelters in the community.

Gareth is survived by his son and daughter-in law, David and Tammy Quintilio and grandson Dylan of Cumming, Georgia.

A family service will be held privately to celebrate his life at a later date. Tributes in his honor can be made to the American Cancer Society or the ASPCA. Scott Huskins Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the Quintilio family.
