Fletcher Marshall Moore, Sr. passed away, Sunday, September 30, 2018, at the age of 84 in the home of his daughter and was surrounded by family members.
He was predeceased in death by his parents Earl and Charlie B. (Cox) Moore and an infant son. Survivors include his children, Marla (Moore) King and Robert King, Fletcher Marshall Moore, Jr., his brother Tom Moore, his grandchildren, Brendan King, Erinn King, Carmen (Armstrong) Moore, and Fletcher Marshall Moore, III.
Mr. Moore was born on March 22, 1934 in Dothan, AL. He served in the Army during the Korean War. After being discharged from the Army, Mr. Moore graduated from University of Alabama.
Mr. Moore enjoyed photography, collecting antique cars, flying airplanes, fishing and documenting local history of his hometown, Dothan, AL. He was president of the Dothan Board of Realtors and spent the majority of his career in the Commercial Real Estate field.
In his later years, Mr. Moore enjoyed spending time with his morning coffee buddies. Mr. Moore was a loving and devoted son, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank his devoted caregiver, Katie, and Agape Hospice. A graveside service was planned for October 17, however due to Hurricane Michael the service has been postponed.
