We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Scott Huskins Funeral & Cremation Services
It is with broken hearts that the family of Eduardo Gilberto Figueroa announces his sudden passing on Saturday, August 7, at the age of 31 years.
Eduardo was the second child born to parents Elizabeth Arroyo and Eduardo Figueroa, Sr. on June 17, 1990. He leaves behind his cherished son, Leo; his siblings, Elizabeth, EJ, and Camila; and parents, Elizabeth and Eduardo. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
Eduardo was a graduate of Ridgeview High School in South Carolina, and he was proud to be a US Army Veteran. His passion for video game design led him to Kennesaw State University, where he was a student in the Computer Science and Engineering Department pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Game Design and Development. Eduardo also worked as a tutor where he helped many students with his trademark gruff but caring personality.
His loving heart and infectious laugh will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A Few Words From His Mother:
My beloved son, Eduardo, was taken from us on August 7, 2021. I felt fortunate to be the mother of such a kind, beautiful human being and amazing father. His laughter was contagious, and he was funny, smart, and a great friend. I will miss everything about him - our calls, the I love you's, and everything in between.
A Few Words From His Sister:
My “little” brother was my shadow growing up. He was selective of his inner circle, but once you made the cut, he was fiercely loyal to you forever. Eddie was thrilled to graduate in a few months so he could start a video game design company and build a life around his son, my nephew, Leo. We mourn the potential that he did not have the opportunity to fully realize, and I am so proud of who he was.
