Douglas "Chris" Christopher Daniel

Chris Daniel, age 49, of Cumming, GA passed away on April 2, 2022 with his family by his side.

Chris was born September 19, 1972 in Cumming, GA where he grew up and later graduated from South Forsyth High School. After graduation he joined the family heating and air business where he dedicated most of his career. He and Kim married on October 22, 1993 and have two beautiful children. Chris was a loving husband, father and Poppy to his two granddaughters that he loved dearly. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. Chris enjoyed the small things in life like riding dirt bikes, watching his loved ones play softball each week, and game nights with his family. He loved to travel and enjoyed riding through the mountains looking for icicles, going to the beach with his family and fishing trips with his buddies. He was involved in several church activities and loved the Lord deeply.

Chris was survived by his wife of 28 years Kim Daniel, children Raven Barnes (James) and McCoy Daniel; granddaughters Molly Daniel and Melanie Barnes; parents Doug and Margaret Daniel; sister Sherry Crowe (Jason); as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 2pm. McDonald Funeral Home Chapel, 150 Sawnee Dr., Cumming, GA 30040. Reverends Danny Bennett, Danny Morris, and Don Allen will officiate. Burial will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, 1390 Dahlonga Highway, Cumming, GA 30040 with Reverend Mike Craver officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, April 4, 2022 from 2p until 8p and on Tuesday April 5, 2022 from 10a until the time of service.
