Dot Evans Obituary

Dot Elizabeth Evans, age 86, of Cumming, GA passed away on Saturday, November,13, 2021. Dot was born November 20,1934 to the late Joe and Laura Pirkle.

Dot is preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Speedy” Evans, her parents Joe and Laura Pirkle, and her brother Alvie Pirkle.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Keith Roper; grandchildren, Brandi and Brad Dorsey, Evan and Cole Roper; great grandchildren, Braxton, Braelen, EJ, Harper, and Henley; siblings, Delilah Crumley, Hugh and Nancy Pirkle; sister-in-laws, Emma Evans and Evelyn Tate; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Dot was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She worked for a number of years for the Department of Agriculture. After retiring from the department, Dot enjoyed life, needlework, and quilting. We are at peace knowing that she went home to be with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ and her loving husband.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 2:00p at Friendship Baptist Church with Johnny Padgett officiating.
