David William Bailey

David Bailey, age 38 of Acworth, GA left this world on Friday August 25,2023 to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. He will be very missed by all who knew and loved him.

David was preceded in death by his  father George W. Bailey Jr. and his brother Jason Bailey.

David is survived by his mother Joanne Bailey. Also his aunt and uncle Barbara and James Willis. First cousins Jeremy Willis and Ashley Brooks. Second cousins Jasmine Willis, Zackary Willis, Hayden Willis, Joslynn Willis, Connor Brooks and Sarah Brooks.

David was a high school graduate and attended Valdosta State College for 2 years on a violin scholarship. He was a very talented musician who played violin in the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra. He taught himself to play piano and enjoyed music his entire life. He also enjoyed nature, going barefoot and simple pleasures. David loved cooking for himself and especially for others. He considered going to culinary school.

David loved the Lord and wanted to be with Him. He had a lot of struggles in his life including a lot of health issues for the last 10 years, but the family is comforted knowing those troubles and his pain are over now.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:00a, Milton Fields Natural Burial Grounds, 1150 Birmingham Rd, Milton, GA 30004. 

A private family gathering will be held at the Kennesaw Golden Corral after the service on Friday for fellowship in the banquet room. Lunch will not be provided but is available at your own expense.
