Charles “Ricky” Bobo, age 68, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Ricky had a passion for cattle and livestock which he loved raising. He would talk on the phone about his cattle for hours with anyone. He loved going to cattle sales, he was known as one of the greatest cattleman countrywide. Everyone says he was the smartest cattle person around. On Tuesday and Wednesday of every week he would call Charles, Austin and James to talk about the cattle prices or what type of cattle were there, and so forth. He was a very likable person who had a big heart. He was also one that never meet a stranger because he loved to talk.
Ricky is proceeded in death by his parents Hoyt and Frankie Bobo, brother Randy Bobo. He is survived by his sons Charles (Dianne) Bobo of Pelham, GA., James (Sunshine) Bobo of Cleveland, GA., three Grandsons James, Austin and Nicholas Bobo, Brother Ronnie (Suzie), Aunts and Uncles and several nephews
Family will receive friends at McDonald and Sons Funeral Home,150 Sawnee Dr, Cumming, GA 30040 on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 3:00-8:00 pm. Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm. At that time the family will proceed to New Harmony Church, 4952 Heardsville Rd, Cumming, GA 30028 where a service will be held at 1:00 pm. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
