Obituary

Carolyn Marie Shaw of Linville Falls, NC passed away peacefully at her home July 6, 2023.

Carolyn was born August 8, 1945 in Millville, NJ.

In 1971 her late husband, Buzz, Caroline and their two daughters moved to Linville Falls. Caroline was co-owner to many businesses, current being the Cross Creek Cabins. She had many hobbies, but her greatest was watching her two grandsons, Austin and Nate.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her late husband, Paul (Buzz) Shaw Jr. she leaves behind Danielle Shaw (daughter) of Linville Falls, Natalie Shaw, (daughter) of Linville Falls, Austin Moretz (grandson) and Nate King (grandson).

Carolyn will be missed dearly but always in our hearts. A memorial service is planned for July 29, 2023 11AM at Linville Falls Community Church.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Linville Falls Community Church Scholarship fund.
