Barbara “Mimi” Robinson

Mrs. Barbara “Mimi” Boyd Robinson age 94 of Gainesville, GA passed away peacefully December 20, 2019. She was born in Wadena, MN; attended the University of Washington; and married Mickey Robinson. They had 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Barbara most recently resided in Oxford GA and prior to the last 2 years she lived in Gainesville GA for 35 years. She enjoyed playing bridge, the Women’s Club, garden club, volunteering at the hospital, water aerobics and Grace Episcopal Church.

Survivors include; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Ann Robinson (Florida); daughters and son-in- laws, Shelley and Candler Howell (Georgia), and Kerry and Wade Hood (Georgia). Grandchildren: Jeremy, Christopher, and Travis Robinson, Kelly Street, Trey Howell, Stacy Arnold (Howell), Courtney Dargan, and Ashley Hood.

Services will be private with a Celebration of Life Ceremony to be announced later. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to Merryvale Assisted Living - Programs Attn: Gina McLendon, 11980 Highway 142 Oxford, GA 30054.
