In Loving Memory of Arthur “Danny” Brannon
Danny Brannon, beloved husband, dad, grandpa, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2025, surrounded by his family.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Collins Brannon; father, Arthur Brannon Jr.; sister, Shelba West; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Jiles.
He is survived by his loving wife, Glenda Brannon; daughter, Kristi (Rocky) Piwko; son, Brian (Tonya) Brannon; and grandchildren, Grayson and Lilly Brannon. He is also survived by his sisters, Sue Jiles and Gloria Smith; brother, Donnie (Anita) Brannon; brother-in-law, Larry West; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He lived a life filled with purpose, generosity, and love. A proud United States Marine, Danny carried the values of honor and service with him long after his time in uniform. Those same qualities guided him throughout his life, from faithfully supporting his local church, to leading others in business, to mentoring friends and colleagues who were fortunate to know him. As President of Head Distributing, Danny was much more than the President of the company, he was a leader, a mentor, a friend, and a steady hand. He believed in people, wanted the best for everyone and their families, and took great joy in helping others reach their potential. Whether you worked beside him or simply crossed paths, you walked away feeling valued and inspired.
At home, Danny was at his very best. He adored his wife, Glenda, and together they built a life centered on love and family. He was a devoted dad to Kristi and Brian, and nothing brought him more joy than being “Papa” to Grayson and Lilly. His playful demeanor, warm hugs, and wise words will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever be part of the family he loved so deeply. Danny leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and faith. He made a difference in his family, work, community, and the lives of everyone who knew him.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Danny Brannon on Sunday, November 16th from 2:00p to 5:00p at the Brannon residence, 111 Fescue Lane, Milton, GA 30004. This will be a casual gathering with food and drinks as we share memories and celebrate a life well lived.
