During the early morning hours of March 4, 2021, our beloved Andrew Michael Lieber joined his late father in eternity. Born in Miami on August 10, 1956, he was 64 years old.
A loving and devoted husband to Christine, his wife and companion of 42 years, he is also survived by his mother, Geri Taran, his sister, Michelle Odessey, his half-brothers, David and Grant Lieber, his half-sister, Dawn Lieber Sasine, and many nieces and nephews.
Always ready to give a big bear hug to one in need or just because, or lend a helping hand, his good nature, quick wit and sense of humor were well known, and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was a veteran and received an honorable discharge after having served in the US Army, 9th Infantry in Tacoma, Washington, from 1974 to 1977.
He was an avid football and NASCAR fan, and always creative and clever with his hands, he was skilled and resourceful in many ways. He was also an artist and created many beautiful things for friends and family.
Andy was cremated and a Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at a later date.
The family requests that any donations in Andy’s honor be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
