Alan Scott Martin

Scott Martin passed away on Friday August 27, 2021 at 57 years young. He was a great son, a cool brother, an awesome uncle, a good brother in law, a loving friend and a child of the one true King! He always had a smile and was full of mischief and laughter. Scott was a loving guy - through all his good times, bad times, successes and trials he kept the faith. His passing was a shock and his family will miss him terribly.

Scott made his home in Chattanooga, TN. He loved people and he had the personality of a salesman - he could sell you a pool and you wouldn’t even have a yard to put it in. He could buck dance like nobody’s business and he loved the Tennessee River. We will miss him but his time with us is over, his work on earth is done. Go rest high on that mountain, Scott! We love you!

Scott is survived by his parents Roy and Shirley Martin of Canton GA, sister and brother in law Kay (Martin) and Jim Tidwell of Cumming GA, his favorite nephew and favorite niece Jerny Tidwell and Leda Tidwell both of Cumming, GA, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.

A memorial service to honor Scott will be held Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 2p at Bethany Baptist Church, 2475 Bethany Church Road, Alpharetta, GA 30004. Stephen Northcutt and Danny Bennett will officiate. For everyone’s safety, the family kindly requests masks be worn.
