Teri Lynn Foster

Mrs. Teri Lynn Foster of Woodstock, Georgia went home to be with her Lord Jesus, Sunday morning, February 17, 2019.

Teri spent her life in quiet service to everyone around her. Her soft-spoken manner, kindness, and caring spirit made her someone in whom many people found a safe harbor, as she opened her heart and her home to anyone in need. Her home was a place of comfort for the many who spent time there. She was often found picking up a musical instrument to join her children in plucking out a song or two after a family dinner, or singing and dancing in the kitchen while she prepared meals for her family – one of her favorite things.

She loved animals, especially horses and dogs, and dreamed of owning a farm in the mountains. She was also very passionate about children. She homeschooled her own six children, and worked as a substitute teacher in her later years. She always wanted to open her own orphanage/children’s home. In the last two years of her life she served Cherokee County, Georgia as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) serving foster children and their families.

She considered her family her magnum opus (her great work) and we will spend the remainder of our lives living up to the example she set. We all long for the day we will see her again.

She is survived by many who loved her deeply including her husband of 46 years, Paul Edgar Foster. Daughter, Nicole Cristen Parramore; husband Britt Parramore; children Luke and Alex. Son, Gregory Vincent Foster; wife Erin Foster; children Matthew and Ethan. Son, Christopher Paul Foster. Son, Anthony James Foster; children Isaac and Gabriel. Son, Michael Joseph Foster; wife Christine Foster; children Braden, Cohen, and Ellis. Daughter, Monica Gabrielle Olivastri; husband Josh Olivastri; children Ava and Easton. Her mother, Margie Catti, Sisters, Debbie Catti, and Vicki Bishop, Brother, Joseph Catti and family. Her father, John Christopher, sister, Robin Christopher Crane and family. Brother, John Christopher, Jr. and family. And many other family members and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held this Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2:00p at Restoration Church, 410 Rucker Rd., Alpharetta, Georgia, 30004.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial donations to be made to The Children’s Haven
