I got to know Kerry through Marie as both were personal trainers. Marie was my trainer but, of course, Kerry was always in the gym too. Marie, Kerry and I became close friends and had lots of crazy, funny good times together. Our lives took different turns that took me away from Atlanta so we grew apart a little over time but still count Kerry as a friend and am so sad to hear of his passing. Prayers for his kids and family.

As you go through this sorrowful time, you can be assured that God does care about you. God promises that he “is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalms 34:18) Nothing can bring you more peace of mind than the inspired words of… “the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulations.” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) God promises that in the future he…” will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more.” (Revelation 21:4) I hope you find some comfort in these words. Take Care.

This kind and loving gentle giant literally saved my life. He set me on the road to health and wellness; he was unabashedly proud of his wonderful children and his Catholic faith. I had the privilege to teach religious education to his kind daughter. I would no be alive today without the love and support of Dr. K
