Janet & I called ourselves ‘twinnies’ as we shared a birthday.
Janet always stood firm in her faith even in the toughest times. Her love for the Lord was a testimony to many.
I will always remember her delightful sense of humor and treasure the memories of conversations about the Lord, our grandchildren and which latest worship song we were enjoying.
Janet will certainly be missed by her family and friends.

Janet was the first person i met in college and we were very close for a couple of years. She will always be for me the sparkling friend who danced so much at a college dance that she fainted and had to be carried outside like sleeping beauty. We started our journey to adulthood together and she will always be in my heart for that reason-young, beautiful and looking forward to all life had to offer. She wanted a daughter one day, and she has a lovely one. Take care.

Janet and I met at church where we were both on the worship team, backing vocals. I have so many treasured memories of singing our hearts out, praising Jesus together- no one more passionately in love with her Savior than Janet. We enjoyed countless conversations around Biblical concepts and theology. Janet loved the word and enriched my life immensely. I look forward to worshiping again with her one day. All my love to you, Halleigh and AJ.

Wow so many beautiful thoughts of Janet and so many of them include Halleigh. I remember when I first met Janet at church she was always either pushing Halleigh in her stroller or holding her or chasing her! We were in a home group for a season at our house and the Scheidls were regulars. But when I think of my friendship with Janet I think of how very genuine and real she always was with me. She said what she thought and she had a deep faith that continued to only grow deeper even as she fought the cancer. Her prayers ushered us into the presence of the Lord and her strong voice of worship was just beautiful. She always made me feel loved and valued. I can hear her beautiful laughter when I think of her.

Janet or Jan as I called her is my cousin. I have so many memories of being in Nashville Arkansas at Idee and DeeDee house for the family reunions! Jan treated me like a little sister! We laughed and joked around and had fun! She and Sue would fix my hair or we would help set the table. She will be deeply missed. Jan will always hold a special place in my heart and I wish she could of met my boys in person but she knew them and kept in touch through Facebook! Wish we could be at the memorial. Sending many hugs, prayers and love to all the family! ❤️

Janet Scheidl was strong. Strong in commitment to her family, strong in faith, conviction, intellect, and talent. I recall many great years being part of the Northlands Worship team with her and AJ, amazed at the strength of her voice and her abandonment of self as she poured out her love for her savior and inspired us all to do the same. I am convinced that at this moment in heaven, above the sound of all the saints and angels, one strong voice can be heard singing at the top of her lungs!
