Words may seem trite and meaningless right now, and I'm too far away to hug away the pain, but know that in my heart and mind I have memories of Caleb, and with them will do my part to keep him alive. I'll never forget that grin of his, nor will I forget how, in almost every picture of him and Madi, he's got his arms around her, protecting her. I don't know if this helps, but I like that now we've all got another angel looking over us, protecting us, and loving us from Heaven.

I remember how mannerly and thoughtful Caleb was. He was a hard working student who always seemed kind to others and was often helpful to me as his teacher. It was easy to have a good rapport with him. He was so proud and deserving to get an “ A” in Honors Lit. He was such a good writer. I am so sorry for your profound loss and I am praying for you and your family at this incredibly difficult time.

Praying for each one of you. Caleb was an exceptional young man, kind, intelligent, sarcastic, witty, humorous, loving, goal setting and achieving, moral, Christian, a true gem. I am so glad that I had the good fortune to teach him. I am so sorry for his passing. There is no doubt in my heart and mind that he has entered Heaven's gates.

Hello. I went to elementary school with Caleb and was in Cub Scouts with him. I was on my way to the funeral today when my car broke down, so I am sorry I missed it.

This news is devastating! Caleb was such a joy to teach and held so much promise! The world has lost a gem. He was one of those rare students who remind teachers of why they entered the profession. Dear Donna and family, I am holding all of you close in my thoughts and prayers.

Caleb was always dedicated and hardworking in all that he did when I knew him through Theatre. He was able to make a smooth running backstage and always looked to remain effective. I’m sorry we have lost him so soon and I have been praying for him and for you all during this difficult time.
