A go getter! Her definition of Win and her hard work and determination, paved a path for so many of us little Appalachian Cloggers. Honestly, we were probably the BEST in the whole eastern region! She encouraged us and pushed us to be the Best! Propelling us right on up to Mrs. Kays Championship Teams.
I was blessed to be related to this remarkable woman and
'Aunt Clare" as we called her was just the greatest!
There are simply too many memories to list them all.
She is leaving a legacy in so many aspects of her life...not just dancing and pageants, but opening her heart and home to so many that needed a stable place to land and re-group
Your light will be missed, but you are now waiting just on the other side of that door!
Our my love and gratitude.

Prayers for all. Clara was indeed a beautiful soul who gave everything she had. She boldly told you exactly what you needed to hear and walked away with more of your admiration than what she had when she stepped in front of you.
